VIDEO: HARD-BODY YOGA
After fitness and yoga instructor Tari Rose had her first baby, she needed a way to maintain her workouts despite the new time constraints that motherhood imposed. The result: Hard Body Yoga.
Although you still get the great stretch and core strengthening that more traditional yoga offers, the Hard Body Yoga program also provides challenging muscle conditioning through the super-slow sets that are performed at the end of each of the 15 exercises. The workout lasts for one hour and uses the body‘s own weight for resistance. It is a challenging workout, but also has variations for beginners so they can ease into a more vigorous program. The workout travels well too because there is minimal equipment and space requirements.
